Wipe off swivel chair base with a damp cloth to clean the wood surface of unused chemicals. Allow the wood to dry. Sand the surface of oak chairs with 220 slip paper. Take time to see the whole play is smooth and free from the old finish. Apply the grain filler with a clean brush. I have open grains that must be filled to achieve a smooth surface. Remove all the excess of grain fill with spackelspade. Let the seed spackle to dry and lightly sand the forest with 220-slip paper until I’m the chair soft. Apply a thick layer of grinding sealer to the surface of oak chair with a clean brush. This will ensure new finish absorbs evenly into the wood. Wipe out excess seals with a clean cloth and let me chair to dry. Gently slide my chair with 220 slip paper.
